In Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico, Wright found a burst of creation during his visit to his father's house. Inspired by the culture and landscapes, he created the “Honoring Loreto” series, celebrating the town's heritage and inviting viewers to appreciate its beauty and stories.
Loreto Fish Market
The "Loreto Fish Market" series showcases marine life in the Sea of Cortez. Inspired by the fishermen’s wharf, Wright saw that both fishing and painting need patience and skill. Each piece celebrates underwater life and the stories of those who depend on the sea, inviting appreciation for Loreto's ecosystem and fishing community.

The "Loreto Aviary" series explores the diverse bird life in Loreto. After completing the Loreto Fish Market series, Wright was inspired to create this collection. While plein air painting “Honoring Loreto”, he observed the birds closely and captured their beauty.
